작품 소개
"전 세계 26억 명 기독교인에게 큰 영향을 끼친 신앙의 스승 바울은 신약성서 27권 중 13권의 저자이기도 하며 네로 황제의 기독교 박해 때 참수형으로 생을 마감할 때까지 세계 복음화를 위해 순교한 그리스도의 위대한 사도이다. 

지혜와 학식을 겸비한 굳은 의지력, 유대인 특유의 매부리코와 풍성한 수염 등으로 바울의 이미지를 표현하였고 렘브란트 등의 옛 화가들이 그린 바울 초상 30여 컷을 모아 비교 분석하고 그의 서신서 등을 읽으면서 완성하였다."

Introduction
"Paul, a teacher of faith who had a great influence on 2.6 billion Christians worldwide, is also the author of 13 of the 27 books of the New Testament. 

He was a great apostle of Christ who was martyred for world evangelization until he was beheaded during Emperor Nero's persecution of Christians.

The image of Paul was expressed through strong willpower with wisdom and knowledge, a characteristic Jewish nose and a full beard. 

It was completed by comparing and analyzing about 30 portraits of Paul by old painters such as Rembrandt and reading his epistles."
